The work that I make inhabits a world of idiosyncratic play and a childlike existence. Fuelled by the fire inside me, everything that I do in life becomes relevant to the illustrated worlds that I am creating embraced through energetic imagery. In this way, the mundane becomes truly spectacular and nothing is as simple as it seems. Childhood memories act as the frame for the world in which my stories exist and every day I make the conscious decision to climb in and see what discoveries I make. The work embodies my experiences, memories and imaginings through loose and thoughtful mediums and methods that envelope tactility, living in joy.
